Preventive care is an integral part of primary care. Adult and childhood vaccinations provide personal protection against important vaccine-preventable infectious diseases and help achieve herd immunity in the population. Childhood Developmental Screening (CDS), which is often conducted together with childhood vaccinations, allows family doctors to screen for developmental delays in children to ensure timely referrals for any necessary early intervention.

To improve the affordability and accessibility of these services, subsidies for nationally recommended vaccinations and CDS were made available at all CHAS GP clinics with effect from 1 November 2020.

Your clinic has to be an accredited CDMP & CHAS clinic in order to be on the Vaccination and Childhood Developmental Screening Subsidies scheme. Click here to apply for the CDMP/CHAS accreditation.
