This one-year part time course is a collaboration between the Chapter of Palliative Medicine Physicians, College of Physicians, Academy of Medicine Singapore (AMS) and the Division of Graduate Medical Studies (DGMS), NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, aims to train doctors to be competent in managing palliative care issues in the clinic setting, in home setting, in community institutions such as hospices, nursing homes and community hospital. The course is also suitable for specialists in other disciplines who are keen to learn about managing palliative care patients.
Doctors who complete the course successful will be conferred the "Graduate Diploma in Palliative Medicine" by National University of Singapore (NUS). The teaching faculties are mainly from the Chapter of Palliative Medicine Physicians.
