CHAS Online will require SingPass 2nd factor authentication (2FA) from 20 January 2017

All government e-services involving sensitive data now require SingPass 2FA. As CHAS Online contains sensitive data such as patients’ particulars, clinical and bill information, safeguarding our electronic identities can help prevent financial losses, risks to personal safety and the legal implications that come with both.

With effect from 20 January 2017, in addition to your SingPass ID and password, you will need to enter a One-Time Password (OTP) sent via SMS, or generated through a OneKey token to access CHAS Online.

Each clinic staff and doctor who have access to CHAS Online will have to register for 2FA.
