Entry into the Register of Family Physicians via the Practice route will end by 31 December 2013. With this change, applicants will need to meet the experience requirements and complete their Accredited Modular Courses (AMC) modules by then.
However, in view of the feedback from applicants that they may face difficulties in completing the AMC requirements because of the limitations in the number of AMCs available, the Family Physicians Accreditation Board (FPAB) has decided to allow a 6 month grace period for applicants to complete all AMC requirements.
