We are seeing an increasing number of confirmed cases of Avian Influenza A (H7N9) in China and Novel Coronavirus (NCoV) in the Middle-East. The risk of international spread of H7N9 and NCoV remains low as there has been no evidence of sustained human-to-human transmission so far.
However, it is necessary to ensure that the health system, including GP clinics, is operationally ready. Hence, on behalf of the Ministry of Health (MOH), we would like to invite you to attend the GP Forum on Pandemic Preparedness.
The forum will provide updates on pandemic response plans and the Pandemic Preparedness Clinic (PPC) Scheme. You may refer to the letter from MOH for more details and information.
