Dear GP partners,
MOH had announced earlier this month that subsidies for nationally recommended vaccinations and childhood development screenings would be extended to all CHAS GP clinics by end-2020.
2. We would like to share with you that HPB has commissioned a documentary on the importance of vaccination, comprising a two-part series on the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (NCIS) and National Adult Immunisation Schedule (NAIS) to be shown on MediaCorp Channel 5, Channel 8, Suria and Vasantham in the second half of this month. While there is already high uptake of childhood vaccinations today, the documentary may potentially lead to increased interest in vaccinations under NAIS (in particular influenza and pneumococcal vaccinations). For patients keen to find out more about vaccination options, you may wish to take the opportunity to inform them about the upcoming vaccination subsidies towards the end of the year.
3. The details of the telecasts are as appended, for your information please.
