Subsidised Vaccine List (SVL)

Only selected vaccine brands listed on the SVL will be eligible for NAIS and NCIS vaccination subsidies. MOH may review the listings periodically, in response to new price proposals from manufacturers, regulatory approval of new vaccines and other changes in global market conditions. Only selected vaccine brands listed on the SVL will be eligible for vaccination subsidies.

CHAS GPs can use the vaccines purchased at prices no higher than Special Pricing Arrangements for the public, including non-subsidised population and non-citizens, with the exception of the following vaccine brands marketed by GSK and Pfizer.
The Special Pricing Arrangements for the vaccine brands below marketed by GSK and Pfizer shall apply only to patients who are eligible for subsidies.

• Boostrix
• Cervarix
• Engerix-B
• Fluarix Tetra
• Infanrix-IPV + Hib
• Infanrix Hexa
• Priorix
• Priorix-Tetra
• Synflorix
• Varilrix
• Prevenar 13

Under the Special Pricing Arrangements, the vaccine manufacturers are obliged to sell at no higher than Special Pricing Arrangements to all CHAS GPs from 1 Oct 2020 as part of this vaccine subsidy program. Please be reminded that for the vaccine brands listed above, the vaccines purchased under the Special Pricing Arrangements should only be used for subsidised patients, from 1 Nov 2020 onwards.

CHAS GP clinics are advised to discuss procurement arrangements early with these vaccine manufacturers, including differentiation of stocks, availability of stocks and flexibility to use private stocks for subsidised patients.

Measures will be put in place to monitor the appropriate use of vaccines obtained under the Special Pricing Arrangements; penalties may be imposed on errant GPs who administer the above-listed vaccines to non-subsidised patients or who resell the vaccines.

Special Pricing Arrangements:
MOH has negotiated with vaccine manufacturers so that CHAS GP clinics can obtain nationally recommended vaccines listed on the Subsidised Vaccine List (SVL) at favourable prices. Legally-binding special pricing arrangements (SPAs) are in place to require the manufacturers to sell the vaccines listed in the SVL to CHAS GP clinics at no higher than MOH-negotiated procurement price caps (PPCs) from 1 Oct 2020.
