Psychosocial and Supportive Care Education Conference in Childhood Cancer

KK Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH), with the support of the Children's Cancer Foundation (CCF), is organising the first-ever Psychosocial and Supportive Care Education Conference in Childhood Cancer on 27 August 2019 (Tuesday), from 8.00am to 3.30pm, at KKH Auditorium (Training Centre), Level1, Women's Tower.

This conference will bring together a panel of experts to share with educators and healthcare providers in Singapore, the impact and management of childhood cancer through the integration of three essential and complementary components, neuropsychosocial, rehabilitation and nutritional care.

Objectives:

•        To provide a platform for international speakers and professionals in Singapore to share their knowledge and practice in helping children and their families cope with life after cancer.

•        To reach out and enhance collaborations with individuals who are educators so as to better support children with cancer in schools.

 

Target audience:

Allied educators, teachers, school leaders and counsellors, learning support teachers, school educational psychologists and student care teachers, allied health professionals, doctors, nurses, paramedics and medical students
