Dengue Fever

Dengue Fever (DF) and Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) are the most common mosquito-borne viral diseases in the world. It is an illness caused by infection with a virus transmitted by the Aedes mosquito.  

All medical practitioners are to remain vigilant and alert for DF/DHF cases among patients presenting with fever and myalgia without a localising source of infection. Medical practitioners should be familiar with the guidelines on the clinical features of DF/DHF and its clinical management which can be found from MOH Circular 10/2015 listed below.
