Clinic Assistants play a vital role supporting the day-to-day operations of General Practitioner (GP) clinics.  As Healthier SG is a major transformation effort to shift the emphasis of care upstream and focus on preventive care, clinic assistants will increasingly need to support GPs in their expanded roles, in addition to managing the clinic and carrying out their current duties that are already in place.

Under the Healthier SG initiative, the regional health systems will be stepping up as regional health managers and be responsible for the health of residents living within their regions. They will also build integrated social and health ecosystems to support residents and GPs.

With that in mind, the regional health systems have designed training programmes for clinic assistants, to equip them with the knowledge and skills to better support operations and patient care.  Please refer to the list of upcoming courses below or visit our Calendar of Events to find out more.
